Hong Kong Rui'an Company Invests about 600 Million in Guizhou

　　Since Hong Kong Rui'an Company invested in the cement market in Guizhou last year, they have extended their business to Zunyi and Qianxinan Prefectures with a total investment of 600 million yuan. They plan to produce as much as 3 million tons of cement in 2003 in a positive expectation of Guizhou's cement market in future.

A Newly Produced Brand of Zhongtongjiu (President) in Maotai Township Has been Awarded "The Largest Bottled Liquor Products"

　　Zongtongjiu Liquor produce in Maotai Township in Guizhou has been awarded by Guinness World Record as "The Largest Bottled Liquor Products in the World". The bottle is a purple earthenware, 43 cm high and 13 cm in diameter. It can contain as much as 7.6 kilogram of liquor. Only two bottles of this brand are produced. One is kept in Kremlin in Russia and the other in Zhongnanhai Guest House in Beijing.

Guizhou's IT Industry Has Initiated the Largest Joint-Venture

　 China's Zhenghua Company has signed the largest joint venture in Guizhou's IT Industry with a Japanese partner to produce mobile phones (CDMA). The Signing Ceremony was held in the People's Hall in Beijing. The total investment reached 123.6 million yuan. The Japanese company takes 70% of the total investment. This is also the largest business cooperation assigned in the Western Development Drive.

China's Go Game Festival Comes to successful End in Guiyang City

　　China's First Weiqi Festival proceeded for four days in Guiyang and came to a successful end on August 13. 500 participants and 10 000 visitors from 14 countries and regions gathered here to enjoy the festival. Business talks leapt a bumper harvest as well. Chen Zhude, President of China Weiqi Association, Weiqi Master Wu Qingyuan and Jin Yong, a renowned writer took part in the festival.

贵州将对投资软环境动大手术

　　审批环节多、办事效率低、服务意识差……这些让投资者头痛的问题已引起贵州省高层领导的关注。贵州已确定今年９月至明年９月为　“改善投资软环境行动年”，《贵州省投资软环境综合整治实施方案》已于今年9月正式出台。由此，全省范围内一次涉及单位众多、服务面极广的投资环境治理将全面展开。　《实施方案》中提出的整治方面涵盖了舆论环境，法制政策环境，市场环境，投资服务环境和社会治安环境等多个领域。

贵州固定资产投资1至8月投资增幅居全国之首

　　2001年１至8月，贵州省固定资产投资完成209.94亿元，同比增长53.6%，增幅居全国首位，大大高于西部地区乃至于全国同期平均增幅。　　　　　　　　　　　贵州今年固定资产投资有以下一些特点：国家项目投资增长快于地方项目；基建大中型项目建设进展顺利，在建大中型项目２４个，完成投资额近６０亿元，占基本建设完成投资总额的52％，占全年计划投资的51％；亿交通等为重点的基础设施投资增势强劲；建设资金保障程度有所提高，资金来源总额及增幅与固定资产投资完成进度基本协调。

香港瑞安集团投资贵州近六亿

　　香港瑞安集团自去年１２月进军贵州水泥市场以来，已先后在遵义市和黔西南州、黔东南州投资兴建新旋窑，总投资额近6亿元人民币。该集团目标是于2003年在贵州年产水泥３００万吨。１９７１年创立，至今已发展为一个多元化的企业，经营建筑、建筑材料和房地产，业务已延伸至全国各地和北美洲等。香港瑞安水泥业务的发展由瑞安建业公司董事、总经理蔡玉强先生统领，他多次表示：贵州投资环境好，市场广阔，对在贵州开发优质水泥市场的前景充满信心。

中国贵阳围棋文化节圆满落幕

　　首届中国贵阳国际围棋文化节历时４天, 于８月１３日下午圆满落幕。１４个国家和地区的来宾及选手５００余人参加文化节的活动,前来参观人数达１０多万人。经济洽谈也取得了丰硕成果，共签约１２５个项目，总投资１０４．７亿元。中国棋院院长陈祖德,围棋大师吴清源,著名作家金庸等。本届国际围棋文化节是迄今为止世界围棋史上规模最大、　内容丰富、活动最精彩的一次盛会。　　　

产于茅台镇的钓鱼台总统酒获"最大瓶装中国白酒"证书

　　产于贵州茅台镇的钓鱼台总统酒，最近由上海大世界吉尼斯总部授予"最大瓶装中国白酒"证书，荣获世界之最称号。总统酒紫砂陶圆柱形，高43厘米，直径13厘米，周长57.5厘米，内盛7.6公斤白酒。巨型钓鱼台总统酒仅生产两瓶，一瓶现陈列在克里姆林宫，一瓶现藏于钓鱼台国宾馆的珍宝馆。　　

贵州信息产业领域引进最大　合资项目

　　贵州在信息产业领域引进的最大外商合资项目－－中国振华(集团）科技股份有限公司与日本京瓷株式会社合资生产CDMA手机项目的合同签字仪式在北京人民大会堂正式举行。根据双方签订的合资合同将成立中日合资经营企业－－京瓷振华通信设备有限公司，主要从事CDMA手机和相关通信产品以及关联部件的开发、销售和售后服务。注册资金１．２亿元人民币，日方的京瓷公司占百分之七十，中方的振华科技占百分之三十。该项目是日本企业在中国西部信息产业领域的最大投资项目之一，也是贵州省引进的最大外商投资项目之一。　

贵州省外商投资服务中心及　投诉中心成立

　　贵州省外商投资服务中心、省外商投诉中心近日正式挂牌成立，这标志着贵州省在改善投资环境方面迈出了实实在在的一步。
　　省外商投资服务中心的主要职责是为全省对外招商引资提供"一站式”、“一条龙”服务；为外来投资者提供项目推介、牵线搭桥；受理外商投资项目申报，提供有关法律法规和政策咨询、项目审批、联络协调和管理等综合性服务；接受外商委托，代办对外经贸有关事务；负责国外和省外企事业单位驻贵州机构（办事处、经济合作组织联络处、公司）的审批、协调、服务和管理工作等。
　　省外商投诉中心主要受理国外省外来黔投资者对国家行政机关、企事业单位及工作人员违反国家法律、法规的投诉，依法调查处理、协调解决投诉的有关事宜；对全省招商引资和经济协作政策的落实情况、依法行政的情况和投资者反映强烈的问题进行专项调查，对带共性的突出问题，制定具体的解决办法，依法保护外来投资者的合法权益。
